IRISH SHOWS - POSTPONED TIL FEB 2020
Yesterday, Jim had to have an operation on his left hand after an insect bite had badly infected it. The infection was so severe that the doctors have had to leave the wound open, on account of the skin being unable to take stitches. Due to this, Jim has been informed that the healing process will take longer than originally anticipated and he has to have the wound dressed every day for the next 10 days.
In light of this, we are extremely sorry that we will have to postpone and rearrange the Ireland shows to another time.
All we can do is deeply apologise to those who have paid for tickets, travel and accommodation so far.
We can assure you all that we have done all we can to avoid this, and Jim was even willing to still play with his hand stitched up, right up until surgeons told him otherwise.
Last night in Manchester, Jim received a short hospital pass-out to take part in the Q+A section of the "Live at o2 Apollo Manchester" release event, but having to return to hospital immediately following the event and was unable to perform in the stripped back live part of the night.
We are working with our Irish promoters to secure new dates (probably early February 2020) which we expect to be able to announce next week. Original tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, and refunds will be available from point of purchase for those that require.
This injury / postponement does NOT affect our sold out London / Manchester / Glasgow shows for mid-December.
